INTRODUCTION

Biomass Conversion Research Center is being established to support the science and technology goals of Government of Pakistan. Headquartered at CIIT Lahore, this virtual center unifies Pakistan’s efforts to advance technology for producing fuels, chemicals, materials, and power from biomass. BCRC will be a collaborative effort between CIIT, DCET, MUET and HEJ.

AIM

The Biomass Conversion Research Center (BCRC) aims to apply chemical engineering science and technology to the development of advanced processes for the production of electricity, liquid fuels and gaseous fuels and chemicals from natural sources.
